My $1m actionable plan

3 min read

I’m planning to become a millionaire by the time I turn 40. If you haven’t read the challenge post, I encourage you to do so to get up to date.

Or if you’re a visual person, I made a video about it on my new YouTube channel.

One Million Dollar Challenge

Alright, now that you’re up to date, let’s dive into the plan.

The (current) plan

I noticed that since I started the challenge I got A TON of ideas flying over my head. Some people would think that’s a good thing, and it is! But it can become very overwhelming.

There seems to be dozens of things that I could be doing like:

  • writing articles
  • making videos
  • working on new projects
  • updating existing projects etc.

So since I can’t do all of them at once (for obvious reasons ⏰), I need to figure out which ones are the most effective use of my time.

But how do I know that before actually doing something? That’s kinda hard, isn’t it?

So I had to decide on some sort of plan - an actionable plan! - that will allow me to stop thinking and start doing.

Nobody gonna pay you just for thinking, lol. You got to take action!

So this is what I came up with:

  • write one article per week
  • create one video per week
  • build one project every 2 weeks (I think one per week is a bit too much 🤔)

The first two should take me 1-2 days and then I have 8 days to build a project.

Seems doable.

Ok, you might be saying: “Why all of these?”

Well, because I think that in order to become a millionaire I have to master (or at least get good at) these foundamental skills.

Writing. Making videos. And of course, building projects.

Sure, there are many other skills that come along with these like story telling, marketing, sales, title/thumbnail design, etc.

But I have to start somewhere.

And I have to put in the reps.

100 articles.
100 videos.
100 projects?! (ok, maybe 100 of these is a bit too much, but you get the point)

Now let’s do it! 💪
